September 5th 2021 — The rest of the day😝

7. Talk British To Me – Robin Bielman

4/5⭐️

I was surprised by this book! It’s a friends to lovers story about a girl who ends up working as an assistant to the mother of a man she accidentally spills food on at a bar. From there, he sort of pursues her— as a friend at first because his job doesn’t allow him to date and more when he realizes he’s fully falling for her. This was a blast! I think friends to lovers is getting to me yall!! I used to hate it but now I just can’t get enough🤠

September 6th 2021 💕

8. Springtime By The Window Volume 1 – Suzuyuki

4/5⭐️

9. Rafe – Rebekah Weatherspoon

4/5⭐️

10. The Dare – Harley Laroux

4/5⭐️

September 9th 2021

11. Beauty and The Beast of Paradise Lost Volume 1 – Kaori Yuki

3/5⭐️

My Review!

September 10th 2021

12. The Duke I Once Knew – Olivia Drake

3/5⭐️

Rife with miscommunication usually results in me being irritated but this one wasn’t too bad! They both liked each other when they were younger but due to certain circumstances, neither of them got the letters they had written to each other. So, when years later she comes to work for his family to attend to his sister— they bump into each other and things go from there. I liked the story! It was pretty predictable but the audiobook narrator did a great job keeping me tuned in to the story. I’ll probably continue on with this series— I gotta go see who the book 2 couple is👀

13. Bet The Farm – Staci Hart

3.5/5⭐️

Small town. He liked her but she left town and didn’t come back until her grandfather died and he resents her for that. Her grandfather left half of the farm to her and half to him… so now they have no choice but to work and run the farm together😈

This was such a fun read! I loved the sort of rivalry between the two and getting to see how they figured out their differences and how their relationship ultimately ended up. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the third act breakup— it was full of miscommunication and just dumbass trust issues that could’ve been avoided if they had had an actual conversation but other than that, I had a ton of fun with this book! The audiobook was also excellent 😙

September 11th 2021
